Overview: Located in the rolling countryside of Grez-Doiceau, Belgium, Bercuit Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course designed by the legendary American architect Robert Trent Jones Sr. Winding through a mature forest of pine, heather, and birch trees, the layout features significant elevation shifts, narrow fairways, and small greens protected by deep, strategically positioned bunkers.
History: Opened in 1967 as part of a high-end residential development, the course was commissioned to establish a premier championship venue in Walloon Brabant. Jones Sr. routed the holes across the wooded valley, utilizing the natural terrain to create a strategic design. The venue remains the only course in Belgium designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr.
Did You Know? Trent Jones Sr. utilized the rolling topography to create a routing where almost every single hole is completely isolated from the others. The mature woodlands screen the fairways, providing players with a peaceful, silent sanctuary that feels entirely separated from the outside world.
