Overview: Situated on the outskirts of Eindhoven, BurgGolf Gendersteyn is a sprawling 27-hole facility that offers one of the most flexible and diverse playing experiences in the southern Netherlands. Designed by Alan Rijks, the course is split into three thematic loops—Red, Yellow, and Blue—that snake through a gently undulating landscape of woodlands, meadows, and strategically positioned water hazards. The layout is characterized by its wide fairways and large, subtly contoured greens, providing a "big" championship feel that rewards aggressive line-taking while offering plenty of strategic escapes for the more conservative player.
Did You Know? The name "Gendersteyn" is derived from the Gender, a small stream that flows through the property and serves as the primary natural hazard on several holes. In 2021, the club underwent a significant renovation to restore the stream's natural banks, an environmental project that has significantly improved the course's drainage and transformed the water hazards into vibrant, self-sustaining ecosystems.
