Chateau de la Tournette Golf Club (The Américain Course)

Overview: Located in Nivelles, Belgium, the Américain Course at Château de la Tournette is an 18-hole parkland course designed by American architect Bill Amick. Winding through a mature forest of oak, beech, and birch trees, the layout features rolling fairways, strategic sand traps, and a series of lakes and crossing streams. The course demands accurate ball placement off the tee and disciplined approach play to navigate the tree-lined corridors.

History: Opened in 1988, the course was built as the centerpiece of a luxury 36-hole resort complex. Amick sculpted the undulating terrain to create a strategic and visually striking layout that quickly established itself among Belgium's premier golf facilities, hosting multiple national championships.

Did You Know? The club's spectacular clubhouse is a beautifully restored 16th-century château. This historic castle features traditional stone walls and terracotta tiled roofs, providing a medieval backdrop for a round of golf.
