Overview: Cruit Island is a compact coastal course on Donegal’s Atlantic edge, where rocky inlets, sea views and exposed ground turn the round into a sequence of bold visual decisions. The course asks the player to accept uneven lies and changing wind, especially around the holes closest to the water.
Did You Know? The nine-hole course was built in the 1980s by Michael Doherty, the City of Derry professional. Its par-34 card and roughly 2,800-yard length make it a small course in scale, but the rocky coastal setting gives several holes a much larger presence.
