Overview: Dumbarnie Links runs along the south Fife coast beside the Firth of Forth. The modern routing moves from an elevated clubhouse toward the shore and back across open linksland, using broad fairways, strategic bunkers and downhill holes to create risk-and-reward choices without losing the feel of a coastal course.
History: Clive Clark designed Dumbarnie on the former Balcarres Estate, and the course opened for play on 29 May 2020. The project became one of the first major new links openings in Scotland for many years, with the layout built around the existing coastal land rather than a traditional parkland template.
Did You Know? The par-3 eighth is one of the holes that drops toward the Firth of Forth, while the tenth was redesigned for the 2025 season after player feedback about the burn crossing at driving distance.
