Overview: Located within the lush Bussloo recreation area, Golfpark De Breuninkhof is a charming and strategic parkland course that captures the serene beauty of the Dutch floodplains. While primarily a 9-hole layout, the course utilizes a clever system of "double tees" for every hole, allowing players to complete a full 18-hole round with distinct angles and strategic puzzles on each half. Designed by the firm of Eschauzier & Thate, the course winds through ancient farmsteads and vibrant meadows, offering a relaxed yet technically demanding challenge that rewards accuracy and a delicate touch around its well-guarded greens.
Did You Know? The course is situated on the grounds of a historic estate that dates back hundreds of years, and the clubhouse itself is housed in a beautifully restored traditional farmhouse. This connection to the land is core to the club's philosophy, as it forms part of the "Hollandsche Golfclub" initiative, focusing on sustainable maintenance practices that protect the delicate river-basin ecosystem it inhabits.
