Overview: Real Golf de Pedreña is a private coastal course on the Bay of Santander, where the original routing follows natural contours through meadows and views toward the water. Harry S. Colt designed the traditional 18-hole course, whose interest comes from firm ground, changing lies, and the way the holes sit within the landscape.
History: The club was founded in 1928 and the original course was built in 1929 through the initiative of Queen Victoria Eugenia and local supporters. Colt designed the 18-hole course, which later gained an additional nine-hole Seve Ballesteros routing in 1992.
Did You Know? Pedreña produced a remarkable line of Spanish professionals, including Ramón Sota and the Ballesteros family. The club's own history records more than thirty professionals connected with the course and a long sequence of national championships.
