Overview: Trevose's Championship Course sits above Constantine Bay on the North Cornwall coast, where the Atlantic, dunes, and links turf create an exposed but varied setting. Harry S. Colt's routing uses the natural ridges and valleys rather than presenting the land as a flat loop. Fairways can look generous, yet the approach angles, steep slopes, and carefully placed bunkers reward players who plan the next shot before taking the first. The course's coastal character is not limited to the views. Wind changes the shape of the holes, firm ground encourages running approaches, and the green sites ask for control of trajectory and distance. The 18-hole, par-72 Championship Course is the main routing at a 27-hole facility, so its identity is both a substantial standalone round and part of Trevose's wider golfing landscape.

History: Trevose Golf Club opened in 1925 with its Championship Course designed by Harry S. Colt. The Gammon family became central to the club's later history after John C. Gammon acquired it in 1941 and took full ownership in 1955. Additional Headland and Short Courses were introduced in the 1960s, turning the original course into the centre of a larger golf destination. The club's current heritage account emphasizes that subsequent improvements have been made while preserving the integrity of Colt's layout.
