Overview: Golfclub Wouwse Plantage is located in the far south-west of the Netherlands, carved through a dense, historic forest. The course blends tight, tree-lined corridors with open, sandy heathland-style holes for a varied experience. In 2021, new layouts named De Plantage and De Bleekloop were introduced to refresh the routing. Visitors can access a driving range, practice green, and six challenging practice holes on site.
History: The estate dates back to the 16th century and was historically used for high-quality timber production before becoming a golf course. The club officially opened in 1986 under the design of Baron von Limburger and Sandee. You can still see rigid plantation lines in older parts of the forest, providing unique geometric beauty. This history adds depth to the woodland setting that defines the current layout.
